Emma O’Hara is an emerging artist from County Wexford. Emma graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design with a BA Honours in Printmaking and Contemporary Practice. From her Degree show work she was awarded Cork Printmakers Bursary 2016. Emma has since continued to refine her practice as a screen print artist however is experienced in other areas of printmaking. Emma is an experienced screen print editor and also leads demonstrations and classes in Cork Printmakers. Emma’s most recent solo exhibition Encounters opened in Cork Printmakers Gallery in May-June 2018. As well as taking part in group exhibitions Emma has also been selected for international projects such as Re(act) a group exhibition curated by Bren Byrne and Lisa Haran co directors of ‘Offset’, This was exhibited in Santander, Spain for Impact 10 Printmaking Conference and Cork Printmakers Gallery for Culture Night 2018. Emma has also been selected for the second issue of Bloomers art magazine The Living Mountain.
