There are so many iconic landmarks of Dublin. The Poolbeg Towers. The Spire. St.James’ Gate. All wonderful views. Maybe something different could jump out. Something people walk by everyday but may not immediately notice if it were singled out. The lampposts on the Grattan Bridge are beautifully ordained with magnificent sea horses and lamps themselves a wonder to behold. A different landmark of Dublin.

About the Artist

Seán Joseph Brennan is an aspiring young artist specialising in Screen Print, Photography and Collage. Interested in senses, emotions and dreams, they mould the visual of his work.

After studying Art, Design and Mixed Media in Ballyfermot College of Further Education he graduated from the National College of Art and Design with a BA in Fine Print and is now a member of Graphic Studio Dublin.

Seán explores the realms of the subconscious, documenting his dreams and relaying his daydreams through the form of collage and print. As well as screenprint Seán is an avid photographer, documenting all aspects of life around the city that catch his eye. Working predominantly with 35mm film, Seán captures scenes and objects that can relate to his dreams and narratives of sense and emotion, and then breaks them down and builds them back up into collages to complete the particular narrative.
