About the Artist
Julia is General Manager of PhotoIreland Foundation. She has combined her knowledge and her photographic practice into overseeing and managing many exhibitions, events, and projects, aimed at exciting a development of the Photographic practice in Ireland and internationally. Part of her responsibilities include the everyday operations at The Library Project; producing events such as the PhotoIreland Festival and the Halftone Print Fair; and collaborating on ambitious projects like the EU Photography Platforms ‘Futures’ and ‘Parallel’.
Julia Gelezova completed a BA in Photographic Media (2014), followed by an MA in Arts Management and Cultural Policy (2015).
