An experimental series of drawings which shows unrepeatable organic shapes with micro textures as references to living organisms. These patterns co-habitate in harmony, often superimposed upon the other.

About the Artist

Vesna Gasparic was born in Croatia, where she gained MA in Graphic, Painting and Art Education. Currently lives and works in Dublin.

Winner of Grand Prix Award for her work, participated in many Art residencies, solo and group exhibitions. Few works are in the collection such as Art Museum Croatia which she is proud of, and with private collectors in Belgium, New York, Hungary etc. The many-sided artist who choose a variety of materials to express her ideas, not the other way around. Main media that she often uses is drawing which is background from sketches to final work. Due to the large scale of her works past few years, the last series of the ink drawing she works on are organic shapes and micro textures.

The artist brings an extensive mastery of details an innate sense of rhythm, and compositional elements to each drawing. Indeed, Gasparic has developed her own visual vocabulary and inimitable style. With utmost proficiency, she invites us to view the world as a magical, fluid and invigorating cosmos. Through her drawings, you can experience our micro universe with a new expansive and compelling perspective.
